Emblacom to Launch Cloud-Hosted Mobile PBX – Explore Your SME Segment

EmblaCom has today announced the launch of EmblaAgent as a cloud-hosted solution. The launch takes place in Europe and LAC, and builds on EmblaCom’s extensive experience of mobile PBX services in Nordics. EmblaAgent is an automated cloud-hosted mobile PBX solution. The solution provides operators’ business customers with a reliable outsourced service to handle all their incoming calls, on one unified number. This strengthens their company image while ensuring all calls are answered in a professional manner.
Providing the mobile-PBX as a SaaS enables mobile operators’ fast time to market for launching new business services. With no initial investments needed from operators hosted delivery will let them focus on sales and marketing. EmblaAgent is a strong addition to any operator’s portfolio and will attract new business customers and deepen partnerships with existing ones – especially SMEs.
Companies can set up their own voice menus, call queues, call distribution methods, and voice announcements. Calls are then forwarded directly to the person that can best serve the customer – wherever they are. If a person is busy, the next one in line can pick up the call, meaning no lost calls and no lost business. With EmblaAgent, all companies, no matter the size, will now have access to the same functionalities that were previously only available to large corporations. EmblaCom continues its growth and has made the following appointments in its Sales organization.
José Llabrés has joined the company as of 15th January as Vice President Sales and Marketing LAC to Panama. José has a strong background in telecoms and has previously worked for major ICT companies like Ericsson, Telia, Oracle and Wedo Technologies.
Janne Sivula will relocate himself to EmblaCom’s headquarters in Helsinki, Finland and take a new position as Vice President Business Development. Janne will take the responsibility of e.g. developing new product and business concepts and global marketing in EmblaCom.

EmblaCom’s mobile PBX set to launch in Latin American and Caribbean market

Helsinki, Finland – EmblaCom, Finnish provider of corporate voice solutions, today announced that the leading regional operator in the Latin American and Caribbean (LAC) market will offer EmblaAgent as part of its business services portfolio. EmblaAgent is an automated, operator-hosted mobile PBX solution that offers businesses a reliable outsourced service to handle their incoming calls. The turnkey solution is easy for operators to start up, and is financially attractive to their business subscribers because there are no capital expenditures for end users. EmblaCom and Geniem announce mobile application partnership

Helsinki, Finland –EmblaCom and Geniem have announced a partnership to provide easy smartphone access for subscribers of EmblaCom Mobility Suite (EMS) voice solutions with Geniem’s AppEver. EmblaCom’s turnkey voice applications – EmblaAgent, EmblaConference, EmblaGroup, EmblaCentral, and EmblaReach – are provisioned by operators to their business subscribers, who can then in turn manage the services themselves online.
AppEver runs the same app on all platforms– Android, iOS, Symbian, BlackBerry OS, and Java, covering a wide variety of mobile devices. With the new apps under development, end users can now easily tailor and manage the EmblaCom solutions themselves from their smartphones. The mobile apps will provide a completely cross-platform reach. They will also be customizable, allowing operators to provide their own branded app to their key business subscribers.

Henri Hovi appointed as Technical Presales Manager

EmblaCom strengthens its Sales unit as Henri Hovi joined the company on the 12th of September.
Before joining EmblaCom, Henri worked as Software Development Manager at Aldata. In addition, Henri has also been positioned in Spain when working as Chief Technology Officer for the Azetti Networks during 2003-2009.
As the new Technical Presales Manager, Henri will be in charge of technical presales support for EmblaCom sales and customers.

EmblaCom has received significant expansion orders from two of its existing customers. The orders include capacity expansions: hardware and user licenses, as well as new features and functionality such as a mobile web application.
These EmblaCom Mobility Suite (EMS) orders enhance service usability and user experience and most importantly improve the customer’s ability to serve efficiently an increasing number of customers. Most parts of the deliveries will take place during the second quarter of 2011.
